Responsibilities
Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and update three-statement financial models, rolling forecasts, and annual budgets.
Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly variance analysis comparing actual financial performance against budget and historical trends; present findings and recommendations to department heads.
Strategic Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and board presentation decks.
Operational Insights: Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Marketing) to evaluate unit economics, ROI on key investments, and pricing strategies.
Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Support strategic initiatives, including M&A evaluations, capital allocation decisions, and cost-optimization projects.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate data collection, streamline reporting workflows, and enhance financial reporting systems.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate FP&A, investment banking, or accounting.
Technical Skills:
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables).Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) or SQL is a plus.
Certifications: Progress toward or completion of CFA, CMA, or CPA is preferred but not required.
Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, sharp critical thinking, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
