Responsibilities
Inspect and accurately diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components to ensure equipment reliability.
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on trucks in the shop or directly at client sites in Chambly.
Overhaul and remanufacture engines and hydraulic systems to extend the operational life of the fleet.
Ensure transparent communication with clients and management regarding work progress and maintenance needs.
Rigorously complete technical documentation, including work orders, service history, and warranty information.
Test and verify live electrical components to confirm the proper functioning of safety and load systems.
Qualifications
Hold a recognized trade certification or Red Seal qualification, or be currently enrolled in a related provincial apprenticeship program.
Possess 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in heavy machinery or lifting equipment maintenance.
Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with customers and the technical team.
Show a proven ability in analysis and resolution of complex mechanical and hydraulic problems.
Master occupational health and safety principles and commit to maintaining a risk-free work environment.
Have an exceptional sense of customer service and the will to maintain a constant professional image with clients.
