Responsibilities
• Accurately and safely load and unload trucks using a counterbalance forklift.
• Pick and package orders, including both small parts and long pipes (up to 20 feet).
• Inspect incoming and outgoing freight for damage or discrepancies.
• Sort and organize materials in the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
• Use a barcode scanner to track inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
• Read and interpret work orders to determine material needs and work assignments.
• Perform other material handling duties as required to support the warehouse operations.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Material Handler or similar role.
• Valid certification for operating a counterbalance forklift.
• A minimum of two years of recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Experience with barcode scanners is a significant asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation to the Dorval warehouse location.
