We are currently seeking two skilled Forklift Operators to join our client's growing team. The first opening is for a hybrid day shift running Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM at a competitive hourly rate of $21.29. The second opening is for the afternoon shift running Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 11:45 PM, offering a base rate of $21.29 per hour plus a $0.65 shift premium (totaling $21.94/hr). Both roles require an external Counterbalance forklift license and are located at a top-tier facility in Kitchener, ON.
As a Forklift Operator within our manufacturing & logistics specialization, you will play a critical role in the daily supply chain operations. This long-term position involves safely operating material-handling equipment to move raw materials, semi-finished goods, and completed furniture products throughout the warehouse and production floor. By ensuring that materials are delivered to production lines accurately and finished goods are safely staged for shipping, you directly contribute to the facility's efficiency and success.

Responsibilities
• Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently within a busy manufacturing & logistics facility.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from trailers, containers, and staging areas.
• Move raw materials and completed furniture components to designated storage racks or production lines.
• Verify inventory counts and inspect incoming materials for damages or discrepancies before storing them.
• Utilize RF scanners or warehouse documentation to track inventory movements accurately.
• Conduct daily pre-operational safety inspections on the forklift and report any maintenance defects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to compliance and safety protocols.
• Assist team members with general warehouse or production floor duties as required to meet daily targets.
Qualifications
• Valid external Counterbalance forklift operator license or certification is mandatory.
• Ability to work either the hybrid shift (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM) or the afternoon shift (3:30 PM – 11:45 PM).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing & logistics, warehousing, or industrial environment is required.
• Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs comfortably when manual handling is required.
• Steel-toed safety boots (CSA approved) are mandatory for this industrial manufacturing environment.
• Reliable transportation to reach the facility in Kitchener, ON for scheduled shift times.
