In this General Labourer position, you will be an essential part of the warehouse ecosystem. The role focuses heavily on order picking, packing, and material handling. You will be responsible for ensuring that products are moved efficiently and accurately throughout the facility. As a General Labourer in Brantford, you will work a unique weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This shift is ideal for those seeking a "compressed work week" that offers full-time hours (37.5 hours) in just three days. Due to the critical nature of the weekend workflow, we are looking for a General Labourer with an impeccable track record for attendance. Our client relies on the manufacturing & logistics team to meet strict deadlines, and your presence is the key to that success.

Responsibilities
Perform manual heavy lifting of products and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Execute precise order picking and packing tasks using pick sheets or electronic devices.
• Organize and stack goods in the warehouse to maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Verify product counts and ensure the accuracy of outgoing shipments during the order picking process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and optimize workflow.
• Operate manual pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment as required to move stock.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements strictly at all times.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
Qualifications
Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during early morning hours.
• Basic mathematical skills for counting and verifying warehouse stock.
• Excellent time management skills to meet high-volume production targets in manufacturing & logistics.
• High level of reliability and a professional attitude toward workplace attendance.
