Responsibilities
Program Orchestration: Plan, lead, and execute quarterly planning events (PI Planning), end-of-cycle reviews, retrospectives, and cross-functional Agile ceremonies.
Executive Reporting & Visibility: Design and present comprehensive status reports to executive leadership detailing initiative progress, velocity, delivery metrics, risks, and blockers.
Strategic Alignment: Connect corporate OKRs with quarterly team deliverables; facilitate prioritization sessions with key stakeholders to align roadmap ambitions with organizational goals.
Backlog & Roadmap Health: Partner with technical experts and domain owners to ensure healthy, prioritized backlogs and maintain up-to-date security delivery roadmaps.
Jira Administration & Optimization: Configure, optimize, and maintain Jira boards, custom workflows, automation rules, field settings, and executive dashboards.
Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve complex operational roadblocks by liaising across internal departments and inter-team dependencies.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Agile Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing or coordinating Agile delivery at scale, with proven success facilitating quarterly planning and program-level ceremonies.
Security & Industry Context: Solid background delivering initiatives in Cybersecurity, IT Security, or complex IT infrastructure environments, ideally within the financial or institutional sector.
Tool Mastery: Advanced expertise in Jira (board configuration, workflow customization, automations, and reporting) and familiarity with Confluence.
Frameworks & Certifications: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban). Relevant certifications (SAFe RTE, CSM, PSM) are strongly preferred.
Soft Skills: Outstanding ability to influence without formal authority, exceptional executive-level communication skills, high organizational rigor, and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties.
