This position is specifically designed to ensure business continuity as a maternity leave replacement (from October 13, 2026, to January 7, 2028). The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the team to provide cross-functional support as needed, including covering front desk reception and assisting with the Foundation's flagship events. While centered on financial rigor and data management, the role heavily emphasizes donor care, strict adherence to confidentiality standards, and compliance with internal processes to help fulfill the Foundation’s mission.
Advantages
Salary: $52,000 to $57,000 per year (commensurate with experience and skills)
Work Schedule: 35-hour workweek, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation (subject to operational needs and management approval)
Contract Duration: Full-time maternity leave replacement, from October 13, 2026, to January 7, 2028

Responsibilities
Donation Processing: Ensure rapid, consistent, and accurate entry of all donations.
Database Management: Maintain the integrity of database information, including constituent records, campaign codes, and appeal codes. Monitor and update existing data as needed.
Tax Receipting: Issue official donation tax receipts (approximately 10,000 receipts annually).
Donor Relations: Respond to donor inquiries as required.
Financial Operations: Prepare deposit slips, execute bank deposits, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Petty Cash: Manage petty cash disbursements and complete related reconciliations.
Administrative Support: Perform other administrative duties as needed, such as front desk reception coverage and participation in flagship Foundation events.
Qualifications
Languages: Fluency in both French and English (oral and written) required.
Education: Diploma of College Studies (DEC/AEC) or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, database administration, donation processing, or a related role.
Our client operates within Canada and internationally, including the United States and other countries. The organization takes all reasonable measures to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, demanding it only when necessary and when existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfill these duties.
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (spoken and written). Specifically, this role will require the employee to:
Communicate regularly with English-speaking clients, partners, and employees located outside of Quebec.
Work on projects, products, or deliverables that must be presented to clients in English.
