Advantages
Competitive salary between $27 and $30/hr depending on experience.
3 weeks of paid vacation starting in the first year (including one week at Christmas).
8 personal days per year for a better work-life balance.
Telecommuting option available one day per week.
37.5-hour work week within a supportive and creative team
Responsibilities
Coordinate the complete logistics for 11 annual events, including budget management and technical specifications.
Develop and enhance strategic partnerships as well as customized sponsorship plans.
Recruit, train, and supervise field volunteers and expert committees.
Negotiate vendor agreements and solicit donations for fundraising efforts.
Collaborate on communication strategies and manage social media engagement for each project.
Analyze the performance of the event portfolio in collaboration with Executive Management
Qualifications
Relevant studies (Bachelor’s degree, DESS, or certificate) in event management, marketing, or project management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics management and volunteer coordination.
Proficiency in Canva, strong writing skills, and demonstrated expertise in partnerships.
Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends during event periods).
Strong interest in childhood, families, and the ecological transition.
Bilingualism: Perfect command of both French and English, both spoken and written.
Our Client operates across Canada, and globally/internationally in the United States and other countries. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
Communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a regular basis
Work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English.
