As a Heavy General Labourer, you will play a foundational role within our manufacturing & logistics operations. This role is a perfect blend of manual material handling and introductory machinery operation, aligning closely with professional industrial standards. You will be responsible for keeping our production lines fluid, ensuring raw materials are fed into processing machinery, and clearing finished goods efficiently. Please note that this is a highly rigorous role; you will receive a full-body workout every single shift. Operators are required to consistently lift, move, stack, and manipulate 50 lbs boxes and products throughout the entire 8-hour or 12-hour shift duration. Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Operate, monitor, and tend to automated or semi-automated manufacturing production machinery to ensure safe and efficient product packaging and processing.
• Consistently lift, carry, stack, and maneuver heavy boxes weighing up to 50 lbs continuously across an 8-hour or 12-hour shift.
• Load raw materials onto conveyors and feeding mechanisms while safely off-bearing finished industrial products from production lines.
• Perform strict quality control checks by visually inspecting finished goods and packaging to ensure conformance with established facility standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and completely hazard-free work area by sweeping debris, wiping down machines, and organizing materials.
• Clear minor machinery jams safely following standard lock-out tag-out procedures and immediately report mechanical malfunctions to shift supervisors.
• Adapt effortlessly to changing production schedules, participating in shift handovers, and adjusting machinery guides as required.
• Follow all established occupational health and safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent educational credential.
• Ability to provide a completely clear criminal background check prior to commencing employment.
• Absolute flexibility to work an 8-hour straight shift or a 12-hour straight continental shift (including both days and nights).
• Full physical capability to lift 50 lbs consistently and stand, walk, bend, or twist for the entire duration of your shift.
• Reliable transportation to the industrial sector of Paris, Ontario, ensuring punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts.
• Prior experience in general labour, warehouse environments, production lines, or machine operation is considered an asset but is not required.
