An established metal roll-forming manufacturer in Brampton is hiring a hands-on Industrial Mechanic for straight day shifts.
If you know your way around heavy hydraulic circuits and prefer tearing down gearboxes, shafts, and bearings in a dedicated tool room rather than just swapping parts, this is the job for you.

Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage after 3 months.

Shop Environment: In-house tool room with presses, lathes, mills, overhead cranes, and digital work-order tablets.
Responsibilities
Heavy Hydraulics: Troubleshoot and rebuild dual-circuit hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, cylinders, and fluid power lines.
Tool Room Rebuilds: Pull machine cassettes and sub-assemblies into the shop; rebuild gearboxes, replace drive shafts, press bearings, and align couplings.
Floor Breakdowns: Keep custom roll-forming lines, inline punch/brake presses, and uncoilers running with minimal downtime.
Maintenance Welding: Minor Stick/MIG welding to fabricate brackets, repair guards, and make quick structural fixes.
Preventative Maintenance: Complete daily PM routines and log work orders on a tablet.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance in an industrial manufacturing plant (metal, automotive, or heavy processing preferred).
Proven hydraulic troubleshooting skills (valves, cylinders, pumps, pressure issues).
