Responsibilities
* Prepare, calculate, and rigorously follow up on customer quotes for the entire Canadian territory.
* Handle full order processing and coordinate distribution logistics with our international production plants (USA, Europe, Asia).
* Collaborate daily with the outside sales team (7 to 8 representatives across Canada) to support business development and maximize customer satisfaction.
* Create new part numbers in the computer system and request pricing from foreign suppliers.
* Manage the administrative process for merchandise returns, issue credits, and follow up on the technical drawing approval processes.
* Maintain fluid and proactive communication with major national distributors and original equipment manufacturers to ensure an optimal response time (under 24 hours).
Qualifications
* Hold a College Diploma (DEC) in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or any equivalent combination of relevant experience.
* Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, industrial distribution, or construction sectors.
* Intermediate proficiency in Excel (ability to read, analyze, and structure customer data).
* Previous work experience with an ERP integrated management system (knowledge of SAP or M3 is a major asset).
* Excellent mathematical logic and ability to understand measurements as well as technical specifications of industrial parts.
* Administrative rigor, ability to multitask, and strong organizational skills.
* Curious and energetic profile with a strong willingness to learn and an excellent team spirit.
Language Justification (Bill 96): Bilingual proficiency in French and English (oral and written) is mandatory for this position based in LaSalle. Our client operates across Canada and internationally, notably in the United States and other countries. As part of their daily duties, the employee will be required to interact with centralized internal departments (including operations, finance, human resources, and legal) that support the organization across North America and do not speak French. Furthermore, the incumbent will regularly be called upon to attend essential technical training sessions, strategic meetings, or conferences taking place outside of Quebec that are presented exclusively in English.
