Responsibilities
The Global Talent Management and People Strategy team enables a high-performing, future-ready organization by developing talent and building critical capabilities across the business. Through strategic programs like the Global Merchandising and Supply Chain Academies, the team empowers talent with the skills, tools, and confidence to grow and perform at their best.
-If you were in the Instructional Designer role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
-Leading the discovery, design, development, and implementation of engaging learning experiences aligned with instructional design models and adult learning principles
-Creating multi-modal learning solutions (e.g., eLearning, instructor-led training, blended learning, job aids, microlearning, and video content) tailored to Merchandising and Supply Chain audiences
-Translating complex technical and business processes into clear, accessible, and effective learning content
-Supporting the development of the Global Merchandising and Supply Chain Academies, including curriculum design and digital learning resources
-Developing and executing adoption strategies that drive engagement, readiness, and sustainment of new processes and behaviours
-Managing timelines, deliverables, and dependencies for learning and adoption initiatives
-Creating meaningful ongoing relationships with subject matter experts and key business stakeholders
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution across regions
-Defining and tracking adoption success metrics
-Developing evaluation frameworks to measure learning effectiveness and business impact
-Analyzing data and feedback to continuously improve learning programs and adoption strategies
-Maintaining and updating learning content to reflect evolving processes, systems, and business priorities
-Gathering and analyzing training participation, adoption analytics, and feedback
-Translating insights into actionable recommendations to improve learner engagement and performance
Qualifications
-Are you our next Instructional Designer?
-You have a post-secondary education in Education, Instructional Design Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, or a related field is valued
-You have 2+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or teaching
-You have proven expertise in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
-You have experience with eLearning authoring tools and learning technologies
-You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and design tools such as PowerPoint
-You have Graphic Design or UX Design skills
-You have proficiency with video editing software such as PremierePro
-You have end-to-end learning development experience across multiple modalities
-You have experience with change management and adoption strategies
