Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate detailed business requirements and functional design specifications.
Support post-implementation hypercare, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and risk mitigation strategies across core SAP financial modules.
Support the end-to-end delivery of deferred solution items, including scope prioritization, functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Author and maintain comprehensive project artifacts, including functional specifications, process maps, key decision logs, and option papers.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, user stories, and integration scenarios across functional, regression, and user acceptance testing phases.
Identify operational inefficiencies within financial workflows and recommend SAP-enabled automation and process controls.
Collaborate with developers and system architects to translate complex accounting and financial needs into scalable technical solutions.
Develop end-user training materials, system guides, and process repository documentation to support organizational change management and operational transitions.
Qualifications
SAP Finance Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in SAP Finance or related roles, including system implementation and end-user support (Strictly Required).
SAP S/4HANA Proficiency: Strong working familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Financial Modules (FI, CO), alongside an understanding of MM and system integrations (Strictly Required).
Financial & Accounting Expertise: Extensive background in municipal or private sector financial accounting, reporting, and core financial principles (Strictly Required).
Education: Professional accounting designation or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Documentation & Testing Rigor: Proven track record authoring functional specifications, user stories, test plans, and training materials using reporting tools like SAP Fiori.
Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to facilitate user adoption and align cross-functional teams.
