Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Case Creation: Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to design comprehensive test scenarios, test scripts, and test data sets.
Multi-Platform Test Execution: Perform functional, integration, system, regression, usability, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across web, mobile, cloud-integrated, and on-premises applications.
Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, document, track, and manage software defects through root-cause analysis and resolution using enterprise QA management tools.
Test Automation Support: Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard testing tools.
Specialized Platform Validation: Execute testing strategies across specialized business systems, cloud integrations, and web user interfaces while verifying digital accessibility and API standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements, manage test data, and communicate quality risks.
Quality Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Maintain accurate test execution records, generate quality metrics reports, and contribute to continuous QA process enhancements across Agile and traditional environments.
Qualifications
Education & Credentials: Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; Software Quality Engineering certification is a strong asset.
Enterprise QA Seniority: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience performing software testing for large-scale applications across web, cloud-based integrations, on-premises, and mobile platforms (Strictly Required).
Defect Lifecycle & Tooling: Strong experience executing test cycles and managing defect tracking using tools such as JIRA, X-Ray, Confluence, OpenText ALM, or OpenText Octane (Strictly Required).
SDLC Methodology Mastery: Deep understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with proven experience operating within Waterfall, Agile (Scrum), and Hybrid environments (Strictly Required).
Testing Scope: Demonstrated experience executing Functional, Integration, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Hands-on testing experience with specialized enterprise platforms (such as AI-based solutions, ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent).
Experience with automated test tools (Selenium, Micro Focus UFT, TOSCA) and API or accessibility (AODA) testing.
