Responsibilities
Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight at customer locations
Fast and efficient dispatching to ensure a high level of service is maintained
Planning and execution of online container movements
Maintaining discipline with our owner-operators
Communicating with drivers at defined intervals to manage service expectations and identify issues
Tracking and tracing intermodal units via CP and CN rail portals
Resolving and responding accordingly to calls from customers as well as the customer service group
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of the transport sector in general, with atleast 3 years experience in container/intermodal
- Excellent knowledge of various transportation softwares
- Experience dealing with Montreal port
- Good knowledge of the territory (asset)
- Degree in transportation and logistics / supply chain (asset)
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
