Responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan effectively and efficiently drivers routes, shipments and company equipment;
- Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound, while staying on top of daily priorities and weekly transportation goals;
- Ensure that truckers' daily trips are confirmed and completed by the end of the day;
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Review, prepare and communicate specific driver requirements and procedures;
- Handle driver and customer requests in a professional and timely manner;
- Actively build positive working relationships with all drivers;
- Update customer web portals as required;
- Track and update shipment status on internal company applications;
- Analyze resource utilization and generate reports as required
- Any other related duties;
Qualifications
- French and English is mandatory
- At least three year's experience in a trucking industry, preferable with intermodal knowledge
- Experience with bulk and/or hazardous products and marine containers is desirable
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
