Responsibilities
As an international financial controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing month-end close and financial statements for North American subsidiaries.
- Reviewing financial reports from international subsidiaries and supporting financial leaders in foreign offices on all accounting and financial matters.
- Managing the financial consolidation process for North america perimeter.
- Assisting with the integration of acquired companies.
- Optimizing existing accounting and financial processes.
- Participating in various special projects and group mandates.
Qualifications
For this role of Internation financial controller, we are looking for a person with the following qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience, including supervisory experience within an international corporate environment. Prior experience in a public accounting firm is a strong asset.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) is a major asset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Francophone with fluent English proficiency, as the role involves managing international teams.
