As a principal site reliability specialist, you will bridge the gap between cloud infrastructure engineering, platform architecture, and continuous delivery pipelines. Operating within a hybrid work model, you will build production-grade cloud environments from scratch, implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates, construct CI/CD automation pipelines, and enforce cloud governance standards. This position is tailored for a hands-on engineering expert who can automate infrastructure provisioning, troubleshoot complex platform issues, and ensure high availability across multi-environment deployments.

Responsibilities

Build production-grade Azure environments from the ground up across Development, QA, Production, and Disaster Recovery platforms.
Deploy, configure, secure, and support Azure Databricks workspaces along with supporting platform services.
Administer Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Azure Monitor, Backup, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
Design and implement highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, platform, networking, security, and system performance bottlenecks.
Implement cloud security controls, governance standards, and operational compliance frameworks.
Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise platform transformation initiatives.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, and PowerShell.
Build automated deployment frameworks and reusable IaC templates for Azure infrastructure and Databricks.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated infrastructure provisioning, platform upgrades, and configuration management.
Automate routine operational activities, including system patching, monitoring alerts, compliance validations, and disaster recovery testing using PowerShell and Python scripts.
Maintain version-controlled infrastructure code and deployment artifacts using Git-based workflows.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver automated platform solutions.
Author operational standards, technical runbooks, and system documentation.
Qualifications
Core Requirements & Cloud Engineering
Cloud & Platform Engineering Tenure: Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
Azure Cloud Expertise: 7 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure environments.
Azure Databricks Experience: 7 years of hands-on experience deploying, configuring, securing, and supporting Azure Databricks workspaces and integrated platform services.
Greenfield Cloud Builds: Proven experience building enterprise Azure cloud environments from scratch across full development and production lifecycles.
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining IaC solutions using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bicep.
DevOps & CI/CD Practices: Hands-on experience embedded within DevOps organizations using infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline building, and Git-based source control workflows.
Soft Skills & Technical Execution
