Apply advanced technical expertise to architect, develop, and optimize cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Analyze, refactor, and modernize legacy codebases to effectively reduce technical debt.
Deploy, scale, and maintain containerized applications within AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker ecosystems.
Articulate, debate, and substantiate strategic architectural decisions when interacting with senior developers and solution architects.
Qualifications
Recognized senior expertise and extensive hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot backend engineering.
Proven technical mastery across Cloud and DevOps tooling: AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to advocate for architectural choices before technical peers.
Strong pragmatic mindset, adaptability, and problem-solving expertise when working with legacy systems.
High degree of autonomy as a individual technical expert.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written); bilingualism in French and English is highly desirable.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
