Responsibilities
🛠️ Execute flawless, X-ray quality B-Pressure welds across a variety of carbon steel and specialized alloy pipe systems.
🛠️ Strictly adhere to rigorous ASME and CWB standards tailored to specific project demands.
🛠️ Accurately decipher and translate intricate blueprints, isometric schematics, and spool designs.
🛠️ Handle all essential weld mapping and quality tracking paperwork to guarantee complete material traceability.
🛠️ Sustain an impressive output pace to support the manufacturing line, all while holding safety as the ultimate priority.
🛠️ Partner effectively with pipefitters and Quality Control inspectors to maintain a frictionless production cycle.
Qualifications
🏆 A valid, up-to-date Alberta B-Pressure Ticket is strictly required.
🏆 Demonstrable background performing pipe welding within a large-scale shop or heavy fabrication environment.
🏆 Highly skilled in SMAW, GMAW, and MCAW techniques (prior GTAW/TIG experience is considered a major bonus).
🏆 Capable of successfully crushing a pre-employment practical weld test (often a 6-inch schedule 80 pipe or equivalent).
🏆 Exceptional mechanical intuition combined with the capacity to operate independently with zero micromanagement.
🏆 Personal, reliable vehicle to commute to Nisku, plus your own standard, safety-rated welding gear.
🏆 Unwavering dedication to maintaining a zero-incident, hyper-safe workspace under tight manufacturing deadlines.
