We are currently on the hunt for a certified Journeyman B-Pressure Welder equipped with strong MIG skills and previous exposure to custom truck tank fabrication. Responsibilities
Execute flawless B-Pressure welds utilizing advanced MIG techniques on a wide variety of custom-built truck tanks and heavy-duty pressure vessels.
Accurately decode and translate complex blueprints, structural schematics, and industry-standard weld symbols into reality.
Expertly fit, align, and fuse steel materials together, strictly following detailed engineering specifications and rigorous code mandates.
Conduct thorough quality control inspections on all finished welds to guarantee leak-proof performance and absolute structural perfection.
Champion a culture of safety by maintaining an impeccably clean workspace and following all occupational health protocols daily.
Qualifications
Must possess a Journeyperson Welder certificate alongside a current, active ABSA B-Pressure ticket.
Proven, hands-on track record executing high-quality MIG welding applications in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Prior employment history with renowned truck tank builders (such as Westech, Rebel, Foremost, Jasper Tank, Hams Tank, or Wabash) will push your resume to the top of the pile.
We are actively welcoming both freshly minted B-Pressure Journeymen and deeply experienced industry veterans to apply.
Arriving with your own personal welding PPE and basic hand tools is highly preferred (though major shop equipment is supplied).
Must be a local resident or currently residing close enough to comfortably commute daily to our Nisku, AB shop location.
