In this foundational project leadership role, you will support the planning, coordination, governance, and delivery of a major enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) digital transformation initiative. Working under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager, you will maintain project controls, track cross-functional workstream schedules, manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and prepare executive status reports and steering committee governance packs. You will collaborate closely with business, IT, engineering, manufacturing, and third-party vendor teams to ensure seamless project visibility, active milestone tracking, and audit-ready project documentation.
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Full 1-Year Engagement)

Responsibilities
Project Controls & Schedule Support: Maintain integrated project schedules, work breakdown structures, and detailed task trackers under the direction of the Senior Project Manager.
RAID & Decision Management: Maintain and update RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and decision registers, following up with action owners to ensure timely mitigation and closure.
Governance & Executive Reporting: Prepare accurate weekly/monthly status reports, visual dashboards, concise management summaries, and governance packs for tollgates and steering committee reviews.
Cross-Functional Meeting Coordination: Organize agendas, facilitate workshops across business, IT, and external vendor teams, record meeting minutes, and track action item completion.
Stakeholder & Change Communication: Assist with stakeholder readiness, change management communications, training logistics, and cross-functional alignment materials.
Project Repository Administration: Maintain structured project documentation repositories in SharePoint and PLM collaboration tools, ensuring document control and audit readiness.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or Operations Management (or equivalent combination of diploma and practical experience).
Professional Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience supporting projects, programs, PMO functions, operations, IT, engineering, or business transformation initiatives (relevant co-op/internship experience is applicable).
Project Fundamentals: Practical understanding of core project management knowledge areas (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, issue, dependency, and change control).
Software Tool Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint).
Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and sound analytical capabilities.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Foundational project management certifications (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, or Agile/Scrum credentials like CSM).
Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management platforms (e.g., Teamcenter or comparable PLM software) or enterprise systems (ERP/engineering tools).
Experience with planning and reporting tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or Power BI.
Awareness of engineering, manufacturing, service, product data, or digital-thread processes.
