Responsibilities
• Work with business primes and enterprise architects to define and monitor service level agreements.
• Generate network configurations using pre-established design patterns under a Senior Designer
• Act as the technical liaison between Project Managers and business stakeholders to guarantee timely, compliant delivery of networking requirements.
• Assist enterprise architecture teams with the evaluation of new vendor applications.
• Prepare estimates for new technology applications and ongoing maintenance of existing systems.
• Ensure application designs are maintainable, scalable, and fully aligned with functional standards.
• Independently diagnose and resolve cutover errors, speaking up proactively to fix technical issues without hand-holding.
Qualifications
• 1-4 years of experience in a Junior Network Designer, Network Technician, or Network Operations Center.
• Relevant diploma or degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to identify errors, speak up, and resolve cutover issues independently.
• Demonstrated experience aligning enterprise technical solutions with strategic business goals.
• Strong working knowledge of network design fundamentals, Cisco CLI environments, and routing protocols.
• Proven capability to assist with application estimates, vendor evaluations, and project cutovers.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into accurate network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
