In this senior technical role, you will lead the development and scaling of multiple complex cloud automation features, enterprise CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application blueprints. Acting as a hands-on technical lead, you will design, build, and operate a modern Integrated Developer Platform (IDP) to accelerate software delivery and enable robust DevOps and GitOps practices across distributed application teams. This position is ideal for a seasoned engineer who combines deep Kubernetes expertise, infrastructure-as-code automation, and full-stack development skills to drive secure, agile cloud adoption at an enterprise scale.

Responsibilities
Developer Platform & Pipeline Engineering
IDP Architecture & Operations: Design, build, and operate the Integrated Developer Platform (IDP) utilizing gated CI/CD templates and automated release pipelines to accelerate software deployment.
Tooling Development: Leverage full-stack programming skills to design, develop, and strengthen custom DevOps tooling and automation across various infrastructure platforms.
Process Standardization: Define, implement, and evangelize mature DevOps and GitOps workflows to automate cloud infrastructure and streamline application delivery.
Infrastructure as Code & GitOps Automation
Multi-Cloud Provisioning: Automate and manage Kubernetes clusters on Azure (AKS) and Google Cloud (GKE) using Terraform and Crossplane.
Continuous Delivery & Promotion: Implement progressive GitOps delivery pipelines and multi-stage workload promotions using ArgoCD and Kargo.
Configuration Management: Standardize Kubernetes application packaging and infrastructure provisioning using Helm, Kustomize, and Ansible.
Security, Networking & Observability
Traffic & Network Architecture: Implement advanced traffic management and network configurations using Cilium, Azure CNI, Gateway API, NGINX Ingress, and Istio Service Mesh.
Governance & Access Controls: Enforce cloud compliance, security, and governance utilizing OPA/Gatekeeper, Azure Policies, and Network Policies (Cilium).
Secrets & Observability: Implement secure TLS and secrets management (via KeyFactor, ACME, and cert-manager) while building full-stack observability tracking logs, metrics, and traces (via Prometheus and Grafana).
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 8+ years of professional IT experience in Software or Infrastructure Engineering within PaaS/DevOps environments, including 6+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, Kubernetes engineering, and enterprise CI/CD pipeline design.
SRE or Full-Stack Depth: 5+ years of software development or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
Platform Delivery Mastery: 5+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps tools, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, and deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters at scale.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced experience writing and executing automated IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
Advanced Kubernetes Tooling: Hands-on experience with continuous delivery and progressive deployment using ArgoCD, Kargo, and Argo Workflows.
Networking & Cloud Security: Solid understanding of routing, User Defined Routes (UDR), and multi-tier application security standards, including relevant compliance and data privacy protocols.
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical enterprise experience).
Nice-to-Have Skills & Assets
Practical software development experience with front/backend languages: React, TypeScript, Backstage, Node.js, and JavaScript.
Microsoft Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes certifications (such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
