In this high-impact consulting role, you will operate at the intersection of cutting-edge artificial intelligence and real-world business strategy. Working directly alongside Underwriting business units, you will design, iterate, and build user-facing AI prototypes, custom portals, and advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks to solve complex operational challenges. Responsibilities
Rapid Prototyping & AI Architecture
AI Solutions Engineering: Design, build, and deploy user-facing web portals, multi-agent frameworks, and advanced RAG architectures tailored to solve acute underwriting and operational challenges.
Tooling Optimization: Maximize modern AI-assisted engineering ecosystems (Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate prototype iterations and maintain maximum developmental velocity.
Production Handoff Governance: Document, package, and refine validated prototypes, prompt structures, and architectural blueprints to ensure a seamless transition to downstream engineering teams for enterprise scaling.
Pod Leadership & Business Collaboration
Domain Immersion: Partner daily with Underwriting business units to map operational workflows, analyze business needs, and identify high-impact AI integration points.
Technical Guidance & Mentorship: Provide day-to-day technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to fellow pod members, fostering high standards of execution and structural quality.
Agile Sprint Execution: Serve as a core technical driver within designated AI pods, actively participating in rapid-cycle sprints, technical scoping, and peer knowledge-sharing sessions.
Qualifications
Career Experience: 10+ years of progressive professional experience in software engineering, systems design, or technical rapid prototyping.
AI Prototyping Mastery (2+ Years): Hands-on experience building AI-augmented software, RAG pipelines, context window strategies, and prompt-based system architectures.
AI-Assisted Tooling Literacy: Demonstrated fluency leveraging advanced LLM-based engineering accelerators—such as Claude Code (preferred), Cursor, or GitHub Copilot—to drastically accelerate software delivery cycles.
Consultative Communication: Exceptional soft skills with a proven track record of collaborating directly with non-technical business partners to translate operational pain points into technical solutions.
Technical Versatility: High proficiency in Python or modular languages, paired with a tech-agnostic ability to select the right framework or tool to bring an AI concept to life quickly.
Work Authorization: Candidates must be eligible to convert directly to full-time permanent employment without requiring visa sponsorship.
