As an SAP QA Lead, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, technical developers, project leads, and external vendors. Operating within an enterprise environment in Toronto, you will establish comprehensive test strategies, manage System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), oversee data migration validation, and drive defect triage workflows. This position demands a technical quality management authority with deep expertise across SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, EWM/WM), Fiori/BTP integrations, and automated test frameworks who can ensure operational readiness, maintain audit traceability, and lead successful ERP implementations.

Lead end-to-end testing execution covering System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, functional, and performance validation.
Manage test execution, defect identification, severity prioritization, triage meetings, retesting, and defect closure with technical and functional teams.
Establish and maintain requirements traceability matrices (RTM) and test coverage metrics against business specifications and technical designs.
Validate complex integrations between SAP S/4HANA/ECC modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, EWM/WM) and upstream/downstream enterprise applications.
Perform data migration, conversion, and financial reconciliation testing, verifying record counts, transformation rules, and post-migration balances.
Execute interface testing across SAP Fiori applications, BTP integrations, OData services, APIs, payload mappings, and middleware error-handling routines.
Coordinate QA activities across onshore and offshore QA analysts, functional consultants, developers, business leads, and third-party vendors.
Support project cutover activities, mock go-live simulations, production deployment validations, and post-implementation hypercare support.
Drive test automation opportunities and establish standardized QA processes, security controls, and documentation practices.
Prepare regular executive status reports, quality metrics dashboards, risk assessments, and test execution summaries for leadership.
Qualifications
Core Requirements & SAP QA Expertise
Education: Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Master of Business Administration (MBA), or equivalent practical experience.
SAP QA Leadership Tenure: Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in software and SAP testing, with substantial experience serving in a QA Lead or Test Lead role.
SAP Module Experience: Hands-on experience leading testing across core SAP modules including MM, SD, FI/CO, and EWM/WM in ECC and S/4HANA environments.
S/4HANA & Data Migration: Proven experience on SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, including data migration validation, source-to-target reconciliation, and financial balance verification.
Integration & Fiori/BTP Validation: Direct experience validating SAP Fiori, BTP integrations, APIs, OData web services, and middleware payload mappings.
Test Management & Automation Tooling: Proficient with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, Jira, and HP ALM, alongside test automation tools such as Tricentis, Worksoft, or UFT/QTP.
Preferred Assets & Domain Experience
Public Sector Context: Experience delivering SAP quality assurance programs within municipal, Crown corporation, government, or public-sector environments.
Release & Cutover Support: Demonstrated track record supporting mock go-lives, cutover planning, and post-implementation hypercare.
