Responsibilities
• Draft and maintain procedures and correspondence
• Prepare standard procedures and other documentation required for the completion of mandates
• Keep up-to-date with rules and procedures
• Proactively support professionals in managing and monitoring their files
• Maintain the calendar and files, including managing the deadlines of assigned professionals
• Conduct professional and courteous follow-ups with current and potential clients
• Prepare the required documentation for various scheduled events
• Prepare standard documentation, such as letters of intent, contracts, resolutions, notices, etc.
• Proofread and correct documents
• Prepare expense reports
• Perform all other related tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications
• DEP or DEC with a legal specialization or equivalent
• Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience as a legal assistant, in litigation
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Outlook
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• Professionalism, autonomy, proactivity, and rigor
• Adaptability, openness to change, positivity, and flexibility
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
-communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a daily basis
-work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English
