Responsibilities
- Receive bookings from the freight forwarder via their online platform and proceed to verify shipment details before sending them to the production teams.
- Once bookings are approved on the platform, update the SQL database and create an appointment in the File Maker tool.
- Update shipments in the database to ensure production tracking is up to date.
- Notify production of shipping delays in transit and update data in the tracking tool.
- Communicate any transport anomalies to the freight forwarder if necessary.
- Create shipments in SQL for each purchase order.
- Update estimated time of departure (ETD), estimated time of arrival (ETA), and estimated time at warehouse (ETW) as needed.
- Verify freight forwarder invoices
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, with an intermediate level in Excel;
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position in logistics
- Bilingual French and English; the person will be required to communicate daily with internal and external suppliers;
