Responsibilities
Ability to understand and comply with packaging and labeling policy
Coordinating with trucking companies to schedule pickup and delivery slots.
Documentation: Preparing and verifying Bill of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and customs paperwork for international shipments.
Routing: Selecting the most cost-effective and efficient shipping methods (LTL, FTL, or parcel).
Ensure the general maintenance of the warehouse, including the disposal of cardboard, waste and wood in the appropriate bins
Conduct physical inventories in accordance with the inventory management policy
Responsible for the precise preparation of the required parts according to material movement requests
Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment (health, safety, security, environment)
Perform IT tasks such as printing documents, creating labels, tracking shipments and keeping shipping records and documents
Preparation of all shipping and export documentation
Provide support for daily assembly and distribution operations as required
Support specific requirements for dangerous goods shipments, when required
Perform any other related tasks as required
Qualifications
High school diploma required
Bilingual (English and French ) written and spoken ideally
English-speaking internal and external [clients/partners/employees] located outside Quebec on a [daily/regular] basis
Experience in logistics and inventory 2 years+
Computer skills (e.g.: SAP, MS Office)
Ability to communicate professionally, both orally and in writing
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, demonstrate autonomy and a good sense of urgency
Average manual dexterity (eye-hand coordination)
Ability to lift limited loads up to 15lbs
Logical and analytical mind
Team spirit
Attention to detail
