Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating inbounds/outbounds from our Montreal warehouse
- Efficiently match available freight loads with available carrier options
- Build and track freight loads (FTL and LTL) in the Company’s Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time
- Negotiate with carriers on rates pricing and prepare quotes for clients
- Maximize brokerage coverage by developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and suppliers
- Processes and closes load confirmations for invoicing and order entry
- Update customers in a timely manner to ensure loads are delivered on time
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar role for a 3PL company
- Knowledge and experience with FTL and LTL shipments
- Strong geographical knowledge of North America
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once, multitasking, time management and remain organized
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
- Positive team spirit
