Advantages

Responsibilities
- Negotiate transport rates and choose the best forwarder in terms of lead time and cost
- Secure the best carrier (cost and service) for on-time delivery and ensure compliance with established shipping deadlines
- Validate incoterms on purchase orders
- Track shipments through customs and FDA
- Follow-up on BOs to validate the possibility of completing the order before shipping it
- Make appointments on customer portals (when required) and reserve space on ship or plane and secure truck to load container
- Follow up containers and LCL (Less than Container Load) after picking up orders from the supplier
Qualifications
- Solid experience in import/export, minimum 3 years experience
- CIFFA certification is an asset and graduated in related field
- Bilingualism (French and English) is a significant asset (regular contact with English-speaking suppliers).
- Knowledge of Customs
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- You are resourceful, autonomous, proactive, and have good organizational and negotiation skills.
