Responsibilities
- Proactively track and trace inbound and outbound truck shipments
- Identify delays, routing errors, or missed milestones in real-time. Immediately problem-solve with carriers to implement recovery plans.
- Provide accurate, timely updates regarding transit status and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) to internal sales teams and external customers.
- Examine and verify shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading (BOL), manifests, custom documentation) for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain precise data logs of shipment milestones, transit delays, and carrier performance metrics
- Assist in evaluating carrier performance (on-time delivery rates) and flag recurring transit issues to the Logistics Manager.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of direct experience in transport coordination, freight forwarding, dispatch, or track-and-trace logistics
- High level of urgency, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to multitask calmly under tight deadlines
- a DEC or AEC in Transportation Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a strong asset
- Willingness to grow and learn!
