The Mission on the Floor

Custom Fabrication: Build high-spec wooden crates and precision pallets tailored to unique, project-specific shipping requirements.
Technical Operation: Daily mastery of table saws, band saws, and industrial wood-processing equipment.
Structural Assembly: Utilize pneumatic air nailers to engineer sturdy, reliable containers designed to withstand global logistics.
Quality Integrity: Maintain rigorous structural standards to ensure every product can survive the demands of international transit.
What You Bring to the Team
Woodworking Foundations: Solid experience with stationary saws and a fundamental understanding of shop tools.
Tool Command: High proficiency with pneumatic equipment; you understand that air nailers are the backbone of our daily production.
Precision Mindset: A sharp eye for measurement accuracy to ensure a perfect fit and eliminate material waste.

Shift & Compensation
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM $18.36/hr
Night Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM $19.36/hr (Includes $1.00 shift premium)
Schedule: Monday through Friday—enjoy your weekends off.
Location: Calgary (Transit-accessible, though we recommend checking schedules for late-night shift ends).

Responsibilities
Custom Fabrication: Measure and cut lumber to precise specifications using industrial band saws and table saws.
Assembly & Construction: Build heavy-duty wooden pallets and shipping crates from the ground up.
Pneumatic Tool Operation: Expertly utilize high-pressure pneumatic nailers and staplers for efficient assembly.
Material Reclamation: Carefully disassemble and break down incoming pallets to salvage or prep materials for production.
Shop Safety: Maintain a clean workspace while safely operating a variety of high-powered stationary and hand tools.
Qualifications
Technical Proficiency: Expertly skilled in the safe operation of stationary power saws (Table Saw/Band Saw) and high-velocity pneumatic assembly tools.
Industry Experience: A solid background in Manufacturing, Woodworking, or Construction is required.
Precision-Focused: High attention to detail with the ability to follow blueprints or cut lists to the exact measurement.
Safety Conscious: A proven track record of strictly adhering to shop safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Versatile Work Style: Capable of managing individual tasks independently while contributing to a high-energy team environment.
