Responsibilities
- Equipment Operations: Operate CNC brake presses to bend, form, and shape metal according to blueprints.
- Quality Inspection: Conduct precision checks on finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and protractors to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve machine disruptions or tooling adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean, organized workstation while strictly adhering to OHSA safety protocols.
- Collaborative Success: Partner closely with material handlers and the fabrication team to hit daily production targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Background: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience operating a brake press within a fast-paced manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong ability to read blueprints, understand bend allowances, and comfortably utilize precision measuring tools.
- Dependability: A proven track record of punctuality and reliability.
- Safety Consciousness: A proactive mindset regarding personal and team safety on the production floor.
