Position: Machine Operator
Location: Cambridge, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
Pay: $24.06/hr

Responsibilities
• Load and unload hangers within the paint shop environment.
• Perform spot welding operations in accordance with prescribed weld recipes.
• Execute heat shrink applications, run shrinking tunnels, and perform tapping, drilling, and pneumatic press operations.
• Set up and operate hoists, cranes, and deburring equipment including hand sanders, strip sanders, and finishing mills.
• Perform surface preparation, manual washing, equipment adjustment, grinding, and buffing to eliminate surface imperfections.
• Process work orders on dispatch through SAP and log task times and Critical to Quality (CTQ) metrics accurately in FactoryTalk Production Centre (FTPC).
• Conduct Check-do-check procedures and complete mandatory daily production and quality reports.
• Troubleshoot quality issues independently and proactively propose corrective solutions.
Qualifications
• High school diploma, technical certification, or equivalent practical experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role within sheet metal or industrial manufacturing.
• Prior experience operating resistance/spot welding equipment, pemserter presses, or finishing equipment is highly preferred.
• Computer skills required to log tasks and navigate SAP/FTPC software.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and operating cranes/hoists safely.
