Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and safely operate CNC machinery and traditional/conventional lathes.
- Precision Fabrication: Execute cuts, drilling, milling, and turning operations on various materials according to specifications.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure production accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Perform routine quality checks on finished components using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, or gauges).
- Workspace Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized work station and adhere to all workshop safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Hands-on Experience: Proven experience operating CNC machines and/or lathe equipment.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong attention to detail and comfort working with precision measurements.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Team Mindset: Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the production team.
- Physical Capability: Comfortable standing for long periods and performing standard lifting tasks associated with a machine shop environment.
