We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Edmonton. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment in the company's dynamic warehouse and federally regulated food production facility.

Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Optimization: Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and repair warehouse and production equipment, while managing our daily, weekly, and monthly Preventative Maintenance Program.
Project & Contractor Support: Commission new equipment, establish manufacturer-recommended maintenance protocols, and coordinate seamlessly with third-party maintenance contractors.
Facility Operations: Help keep the building running smoothly by monitoring HVAC systems and assisting with occasional light carpentry, welding, or plumbing tasks as needed.
Safety, Compliance & Inventory: Champion Food Safety, HACCP, and Occupational Health & Safety standards. Keep the maintenance shop spotless, ensure tools are sanitized for food contact, and manage the inventory of critical replacement parts.
Qualifications
Trade Experience: Electrical and/or Millwright experience is highly preferred. Formal certification is considered a strong asset.
Technical Literacy: A solid working understanding of schematic drawings and technical instructions.
Industry Background: Previous experience working within a federally regulated Food Production or Manufacturing facility is highly beneficial.
Equipment Certifications: Valid certifications for operating a forklift, pallet jack, and aerial scissor lift are valuable assets.
