Reporting to the CFO, the Management Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the daily accounts (receivable/payable), the month-end process and the preparation of certain documents in connection with the financial publication of the management entities. Responsibilities
- Produce accounts for management companies, holding companies, etc;
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;
- Verify the conformity of the entire accounting cycle, such as accounts receivable and accounts payable;
- Participate in the monthly preparation of management fee invoices, inter-company billing recharges and salary recharges.
- Participate in the reconciliation and entry of credit card accounts.
- Participate in G&A analysis;
- Prepare payroll and manage timesheets for invoicing;
- Ensure proper application of accounting standards;
- Prepare tax reports and any other reports requested by the bank or government authorities.
Qualifications
- Relevant accounting training ;
- 2-3 years relevant experience;
- Knowledge of Excel (asset);
- Good team spirit, autonomous and rigorous;
- Knowledge of Hopem and/or Quickbook (asset)
