Responsibilities
-Implement directives and initiatives of Head Office to ensure branch efficiencies and management
-Enforce the implementation of company policies, programs and processes to ensure positive team and client experience
-Provide basic technology support to new teams and employees and liaise with IT Support as needed
-Supervise support staff and conduct monthly meetings to ensure they are aware of any updates that affect their role/business
-Share knowledge and any relevant industry news with branch staff
-Identify training needs and implement solutions to fill gaps by using tools and head office support
-Coordinate and deliver onboarding training to new hires and provide ongoing training support for existing employees
-Act as sales assistant / associate to advisory teams, as needed and upon request
-Ensure operational controls are being adhered to
-Attend seminars and professional development courses to stay abreast of industry changes
-Support advisors in the fair management and professional development of team members
-Provide HR guidance to teams (e.g, new hire, disciplinary measures, terminations, benefits, and payroll, etc.)
-Play a role in ensuring projects and initiatives go through proper change management
-Support branch culture, promoting collaboration and respect, where team opinion/feedback are valued and considered
Our Client operates across Canada. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
-communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a daily basis
-work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English
Qualifications
-5 to 10 years’ experience in the financial sector
-IR License required
-Excellent oral and written fluency in both English and French
-Proven experience as a Branch Administrator for a medium to large branch
-In-depth expertise with technology platforms and the ability to provide basic tech support to the team
-Strong operational efficiency, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
-Ability to work efficiently under pressure and demonstrate professionalism in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
-High degree of autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail
-Excellent telephone and email etiquette, providing top-tier customer service to both internal and external clients
-Current knowledge of compliance issues as published in internal company bulletins
