Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate the sit-down counterbalance forklift.
Accurately execute, complete, and close work orders for the shipping department.
Prepare, pack, and label orders for shipment, adhering to quality standards.
Write daily reports on inventory movements, shipments, and receipts.
Maintain the cleanliness and order of the warehouse and the certified forklift operator's work area.
Assist the logistics team with handling and inventory management tasks as needed.
Perform the daily (pre-operational) inspection of the counterbalance forklift.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous workflow.
Qualifications
Possess a valid certification for the sit-down counterbalance forklift (Counter Balance Forklift).
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of recent experience in a Certified Forklift Operator / Material Handler role.
Work experience in a warehouse or Manufacturing and Logistics environment.
Ability to perform material handling tasks and lift loads (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
Reside near Dorval or have reliable transportation for the 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. shift.
Strong work references related to the logistics sector.
