As a pivotal member of the team, you will act as the strategic link between business processes and technical execution, advising on the transition from legacy systems (SAP PM) to Maximo Manage. You will collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, vendors, and project leadership to ensure a seamless, standard, and highly supportable deployment.
Location: Toronto, ON
Contract Duration: 12 months (with 2 optional extensions of 6 months each)

Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Configuration: Provide hands-on Maximo Manage functional and configuration expertise for facilities maintenance, asset management, and work management processes.
System Transition & Alignment: Support the transition from legacy SAP PM to Maximo Manage by advising on process alignment, configuration approaches, data readiness, integration touchpoints, and go-live stabilization.
Core Maximo Configuration: Advise on and configure core Maximo components including service requests, work orders, workflows, security groups/roles, escalations, notifications, start centers, and dashboards.
End-to-End Process Design: Support design decisions for full-lifecycle facilities maintenance, covering intake, dispatching, field execution, mobile work apps, vendor management, and equipment assets.
Data Readiness & Mapping: Support data migration activities, including target data structure reviews, data mapping input, data validation rules, and the triage of data issues.
Integration Support: Provide expert input into integration requirements between Maximo Manage, SAP, SAP BTP, TRIRIGA, reporting platforms, and mobile applications.
Testing & Defect Triage: Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by reviewing test cases, validating configuration behavior, and leading defect triage.
Environment & Release Management: Advise on environment promotion and release readiness across development, test, pre-production, and production environments.
Risk Mitigation & Best Practices: Identify implementation risks and recommend practical solutions that leverage standard out-of-the-box functionality while minimizing unnecessary customization.
Knowledge Transfer & Collaboration: Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and sprint demonstrations, while providing comprehensive knowledge transfer to internal staff regarding Maximo concepts and sustainment needs.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing IBM Maximo Manage / Maximo Asset Management / Maximo Enterprise Asset Management in enterprise production environments.
Proven Track Record: Successfully delivered at least three (3) production implementations of Maximo, with at least one (1) implementation on IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) version 8.x or 9.x.
Functional Expertise: Demonstrated experience implementing end-to-end maintenance processes (service requests, preventive maintenance, inspections, vendor work, and equipment assets).
Technical Tools: Practical experience configuring core Maximo components such as Application Designer, Database Configuration, Workflow, and Security Groups.
Integration Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), REST/JSON API patterns, and SAP-to-Maximo integration concepts (work orders, procurement/financial touchpoints).
Reporting & Analytics: Familiarity with Maximo reporting, BIRT report development/maintenance, SQL-based validation, and data analysis.
Quality Assurance: Proven experience with System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), environment promotion, and post-go-live stabilization.
Communication: Exceptional ability to collaborate with business users, technical teams, vendors, and leadership to resolve complex design and configuration challenges.
