Lucrative On-Call Rotation: $49/week phone allowance + premium on-call pay (guaranteed minimum 4 hours straight time or 1.5x for hours worked, whichever is higher).
Responsibilities
System Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed industrial manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and critical plant utilities (compressors, fluid systems).
Team Collaboration: Partner closely with a robust, collaborative maintenance department (including dedicated Electrical and Mechanical supervisors, Millwrights, and fellow Electricians) to minimize production downtime.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to operational needs and participate in an easy-to-manage, rotational on-call schedule (approximately once every 10 weeks).
Safety First: Adhere strictly to all plant safety protocols and PPE requirements in a fast-paced, heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
Licensing & Experience: Valid 433A Industrial Millwright license with 2–5+ years of maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing or heavy processing environment.
Technical Expertise: Strong troubleshooting skills with heavy-duty conveyor systems, rotating equipment, industrial pumps, fluid systems, and basic plant utilities (compressors/boilers).
Schematics & Tools: Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings, with excellent precision tool aptitude.
Work Environment: Comfortable working in a heavy industrial, fast-paced production environment. Must be flexible to join the 10-week on-call rotation.
Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to plant safety standards, including being clean-shaven for mandatory respirator/dust mask fit-testing.
Team Fit: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a large, multi-disciplinary trade team.
