Position Overview
Location: Nisku / Leduc, Alberta
Position Type: Full-Time (Temp-to-Perm Track)
Hourly Rate: $38.00 to $40.00/hr + strong overtime potential
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, straight day shifts (No nights or weekends!)
Work Environment: A global manufacturing hub focused on the assembly, overhaul, and testing of heavy rotating machinery, high-capacity pumps, and gearboxes.

Responsibilities
Complete Mechanical Overhauls: Dismantle, inspect, repair, and rebuild heavy rotating machinery, gearboxes, and pumps.
Fluid Power Systems: Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic issues to safely restore high-pressure systems.
Precision Alignment: Execute precise work using laser alignment tools to ensure strict OEM tolerances.
Schematics Decoding: Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and detailed OEM manuals accurately.
Equipment Testing: Conduct functional runs and quality inspections on rebuilt assets before dispatch.
Collaborative Work: Partner with in-house machinists, heavy-duty techs, and welders on complex overhauls.
Qualifications
Mandatory Certification: Active Alberta Journeyperson Millwright ticket or valid Interprovincial Red Seal required.
Machinery Background: Proven background in industrial facilities overhauling rotating equipment and gearboxes.
Hydraulics Expertise: Hands-on experience diagnosing and servicing hydraulic circuits and fluid power systems.
Mechanical Troubleshooting: Strong diagnostic skills to quickly isolate failures and execute quality repairs.
Clear Communication: Good verbal/written English skills to complete repair logs and follow shop safety.
Immediate Availability: We are interviewing right now and favour candidates who can start on short notice.
