As a Senior IT Specialist on-site, you will be the ultimate point of escalation for infrastructure and security, working alongside a junior technician already on staff. Operating in a highly technological, "Mac-first" and "cloud-native" environment, this role is highly hands-on and practical. You will divide your time between managing a predominantly Apple IT infrastructure, developing the cloud infrastructure (AWS/Cisco Meraki), and implementing a modern security suite.

Responsibilities
Act as the lead on-site technical expert for an IT infrastructure comprised of 90% macOS and 10% Windows.
Monitor and optimize the cloud (AWS) and network (Cisco Meraki) infrastructure. Actively participate in infrastructure implementation projects and the upcoming migration to JAMF.
Manage and refine controls (content filtering, DNS security, VPN, IPS, anti-malware endpoint protection, DLP, CASB).
AWS IAM management: Support and maintain roles, security policies, and the application of the principle of least privilege.
Create scripts (Bash/Python) to automate infrastructure tasks and incident responses. Maintain up-to-date procedure guides.
Qualifications
Over 5 years of hands-on experience in advanced IT support (Level 3) or IT infrastructure management.
Extensive experience managing a fleet of enterprise Apple (macOS) devices and open-source Unix/Linux environments.
Strong networking skills (ability to trace and correlate events) and practical experience with AWS and Cisco Meraki.
Working knowledge of Bash or Python for automation.
