Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of the organization's wired and wireless network and VoIP infrastructure, including design, installation, configuration, and upgrades.1
Oversee system stability by conducting continuous performance monitoring, analyzing health metrics, investigating technical anomalies, and liaising with external vendors.1
Manage and deploy mobile endpoints (smartphones and tablets) using relevant mobile device management (MDM) platforms.
Provide configuration and operational support for voice systems, including softphones and physical desk phones.
Serve as an escalation point for technical problems related to network and communication systems from the initial service team.
Administer and monitor network security tools (e.g., IPS, VPN, SIEM, NAC, and Identity & Access Management) to defend against malicious activity.
Contribute to system security assurance by assisting with internal and external vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Be available for an on-call schedule and be prepared to perform work beyond standard working hours as necessary.
Occasional travel to branch office locations may be required.
Perform other related technical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Expert-level understanding of core networking protocols including TCP/IP, QoS, VoIP, WLAN, routing/switching, firewall, and VPN technologies (IPsec and SSL).
Practical experience with the setup and configuration of network hardware, specifically Cisco and/or Juniper devices.
Proficiency in intrusion detection/prevention systems and implementing threat analysis and mitigation strategies.
Demonstrated ability to perform security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and use penetration testing tools.
Exceptional diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the skill to translate user needs into technical specifications.
Superior communication and client support skills for both verbal and in-person interactions.
Possession of a recognized industry certification, such as CCNP, JNCIP-ENT, or JNCIP-SEC.
