We are currently hiring for Quality check associates for a 3 month contract with possibility for extension and even full time for the right candidate. If you are a student on academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do general labor work, we can hire you!
Location: Gurney Crescent North York ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:55am - 4:25pm
Pay Rate: $20/hr

Responsibilities:
-Quality Control & Escalation: Inspect incoming and outgoing garments for sewing, fabric, or printing defects.
-Promptly identify and raise quality concerns to Jay as soon as they are spotted.
-Garment Finishing:
-Safely and cleanly remove tear-away or cut-away backing materials from embroidery.
-Carefully remove water-soluble solvy (stabilizer) from delicate embroidered garments.
-Operate commercial steamers to press and release wrinkles from post-heat press garments.
-Value-Added Services (VAS): Accurately apply hang tags, price stickers, and custom client labels to specific
garment placements.
-Bagging & De-bagging: Efficiently open bulk shipments, unpack garments, and repack finished merchandise
into designated polybags.
-Counting & Packing: Perform precise and highly accurate counts of sorted goods, packaging garments
securely in cardboard containers with exact documentation.
-Collaboration: Cooperate closely with team members to hit daily production and shipping targets while
maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Physical Endurance:
-Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for the entirety of an 8-hour shift.
-Excellent manual dexterity for fine-motor tasks (handling delicate tags, safety pins, stickers, and tools).
-Ability to lift and move boxes of garments weighing up to 35 lbs periodically.
-Reliability: Excellent punctuality, reliable transport, and flexibility to work overtime as required to meet client
delivery deadlines.
