This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about human resources and wants to gain hands-on experience across recruitment, employee relations, client management, employee management and payroll coordination.
The role is part-time to start, but with our client’s rapid growth, it has strong potential to transition into a full-time position in the coming months.
Schedule: 20 hours/week (strong potential to transition into a full time opportunity)
Pay Rate: $22-24 per hour
Location: Church Street South, Ajax (near Ajax Go station)
3 months of contract position to start with the possibility of extension in to a full time role.

Responsibilities
the on-site coordinator role will include, but are not limited to:
•Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for new hires
•Act as the on-site point of contact for both the client and Randstad associates.
•Conduct first-day orientations and provide continuous support to associates.
•Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and updates.
•Oversee employee management activities, including attendance, shift management, and health & safety reporting.
•Handle disciplinary conversations and ensure effective issue resolution.
•Support payroll processes and ensure timely updates.
•Collaborate with Randstad’s internal teams for seamless operations.
•Ensure compliance with all workplace and safety policies.
•Be flexible with working hours (between 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and open to work on weekends).
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
•Must have access to a vehicle (on-site client visits required).
•Experience in an office environment, customer service, or HR setting.
•Background in high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
•Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
•Experience working in client-facing roles is an asset.
•Education in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
•Positive attitude, professionalism, and flexibility in a team-based environment.
•Flexibility required with schedule (must be available to work on weekends)
