Position Title: Operations Officer I
Location: Mississauga, Ontario (Tahoe Boulevard) – Must be within a 30-minute commute of the office Position Type: Contract (6 months, with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion based on performance)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Standard Business Hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Compensation: $22.25 / hour

Data Processing: Efficiently and accurately process government requests for information in compliance with operational policies and procedures.

Risk Management & Confidentiality: Exercise absolute discretion when managing highly confidential customer data and correspondence; escalate non-standard or high-risk activities appropriately.
Quality Assurance: Conduct necessary due diligence to ensure the absolute accuracy of all transactions, records, and activities.
Process Improvement: Think critically about daily workflows, actively participate in identifying process improvements, and share innovative ideas with the team.
Team Collaboration: Participate fully in a positive, diverse, and equitable team environment; support peers by sharing knowledge and engaging in cross-training initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in an operational, administrative, or data-intensive environment.
Education: Completed post-secondary education.
SLA Driven: Proven track record of multi-tasking and meeting strict productivity and time-based metrics.
Technical Aptitude: Proficient with MS Office and highly comfortable navigating multiple databases, software applications, and internal systems simultaneously.
Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills (internal interaction only), high initiative, and a collaborative "team-player" mindset.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy and quality control.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Prior experience working in a banking or retail bank branch environment.
A background in business administration or financial services.
