As an Operations Officer II, you will provide a broad range of operational support, executing specialized transactions related to wire payments, electronic transfers, and Visa money transfers. This role is strictly back-office, meaning there is no telephone work. You will be part of a collaborative team of 11 people, where your ability to learn quickly and adapt to a variety of tasks will be key to your success. Performance is measured through production volume and compliance accuracy.

Responsibilities
Transaction Processing & Money Movement
Financial Transfers: Execute wire payments, electronic money movements, and Visa money transfers accurately and on time.
SLA Adherence: Manage and prioritize your workload to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for productivity and quality.
Transaction Validation: Support partners with incoming transactions, validating information to perform adjustments within assigned authority levels.
Risk & Compliance
Regulatory Adherence: Understand and apply internal and industry regulations, ensuring all transactions comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Business Continuity Management frameworks.
Policy Review: Consistently exercise discretion in managing confidential information and follow strict operating procedures.
Escalation: Identify and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities to management to ensure service quality is maintained.
Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Process Improvement: Actively review internal processes and suggest ideas to strengthen our operating model and elevate service quality.
Stakeholder Interaction: Interact with internal partners effectively to resolve processing issues and ensure seamless workflow.
Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility by moving between a variety of different tasks and projects as business needs shift.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
Bilingualism: Fully fluent in both French and English (verbal and written).
Experience: 1–2 years of overall professional experience, ideally in a trade processing or administrative environment.
Technical Skills: Tech-savvy with strong Excel skills (experience with pivot tables, formulas, and data entry).
Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and a deep understanding of the impact of transactional risk.
Soft Skills: Positive attitude, strong initiative, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
Coachability: A high level of openness to feedback and a desire for continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
AI Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) is an asset.
Industry Background: Previous experience in banking or financial services.
