As an Operations Officer II, you will provide a broad range of operational support, executing specialized transactions with high accuracy. This role is strictly back-office—no telephone work is involved—allowing you to focus deeply on technical processing and compliance. You will be part of a collaborative team of 11 people, where your ability to learn quickly and move seamlessly between a variety of tasks will be key to your success. Performance is measured through production volume and adherence to strict compliance reports.

Responsibilities
Transaction Processing & Operations
Financial Movements: Execute wire payments, electronic transfers, and Visa money movements accurately and on time.
SLA Adherence: Manage and prioritize your workload to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for productivity and quality.
Administrative Support: Support partners with incoming transactions, validating information to perform adjustments within assigned authority levels.
Technical Agility: Navigate multiple banking systems and platforms to ensure the seamless integration of activities and processes.
Risk & Compliance
Regulatory Knowledge: Understand and apply internal and industry regulations (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management) in all daily activities.
Due Diligence: Conduct thorough analysis on critical transactions to ensure they align with operating policies and procedures.
Issue Resolution: Identify, resolve, or escalate service delivery issues based on a solid understanding of the underlying risk and impact.
Continuous Improvement & Teamwork
Process Enhancement: Actively review internal processes and suggest ideas to strengthen our operating model and elevate service quality.
Training & Development: Participate in a comprehensive 6-month training period, including observation, policy review, and procedural mastery.
Collaboration: Assist with cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed, fostering a positive and equitable team environment.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
Bilingualism: Fully fluent in both French and English (verbal and written).
Technical Skills: Tech-savvy with strong Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables, data entry, and formulas.
Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in an operations, trade processing, or administrative environment.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and a clear understanding of risk and its impact on the organization.
Soft Skills: A positive attitude, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
Education: Post-secondary education is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of or experience with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Co-pilot).
Previous experience in a banking or financial services operational environment.
Familiarity with Global and WSS platforms.

Coachability: A high level of openness to feedback and a desire for continuous improvement. (Note: Resistance to feedback is a disqualifier).
